Ticonderoga Montcalm Street Partnership, Inc. (TMSP) seeks to create meaningful, long-term change in Ticonderoga's traditional business district and to promote economic revitalization and consequent historic preservation by employing the precepts of the National Trust Main Street Center (NTMSC) of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. In accordance with NTMSC's precepts and plain common sense, TMSP encourages rebuilding downtown value by creating better access, public improvements and building maintenance and design; targets the most appropriate markets for promoting the downtown and the goods and services it offers; strengthens existing businesses while recruiting new ones; brings together the groups necessary to make change happen; and capitalizes on the unique historic assets of Ticonderoga's downtown.
